Susbid is built to keep as little as possible. In short: no accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies, and screenshots are deleted once read.
What you upload
When you run a check, you upload screenshots or PDFs of eBay pages. Susbid sends them to a vision model (Anthropic’s Claude) to read the page, then deletes the screenshots, whether reading succeeded or not. They are never published or shown to anyone else.
From each capture Susbid keeps only what was read and you confirmed:
- the item number, title and seller username shown on the page;
- bidders’ masked names (such as a***b), feedback scores, bid amounts and times, and retractions;
- bidders’ 30-day summaries from bidder detail pages.
Susbid never tries to work out who a masked bidder is. If your own eBay username appears in a capture’s header, the reader is told to ignore it and it isn’t stored.
Your connection
To limit abuse, Susbid records a keyed one-way hash of your IP address with each upload. The address itself isn’t stored, and the hash can’t be reversed without a secret key.
Analytics
Susbid counts page views with Fathom Analytics, which uses no cookies and collects no personal data. There are no ad networks and no tracking pixels. Check results are counted without their address.
Who sees your check
Only someone with the check’s link. Result pages are not listed, not linked, and tell search engines not to index them. Susbid does not sell or share personal information.
Review requests
If you use the review request form, Susbid keeps the email address and message you send so it can reply, and deletes them on request once the request is resolved.
Retention
- Screenshots: deleted as soon as they are read.
- Check results: kept so your link keeps working, and deleted on request.
- Upload hashes: used for rate limits and blocking abuse.
Your choices
To have a check deleted, or to ask what Susbid holds, use the request form with the check’s link. Sellers can ask for results about their listings or store to be reviewed or removed the same way.
